Boroimhe Shopping Centre is situated in North County Dublin approximately 1.2km south of Swords Village and 2km north of Dublin Airport. The Shopping Centre is located within the now densely populated residential location of Boroimhe, immediately west of the R132 and south of Swords centre.
Boroimhe Shopping Centre opened in late 2006 when the Residential development of Boroimhe was completed. The centre consists of ten independent retail units with a current rental income of circa €829,570 per annum. Boroimhe Shopping Centre is 100% occupies at present. The anchor tenants in the centre are SuperValu and Boroimhe Medical Centre with a number of strong tenants also in situ.
BREL currently act as the Property and Asset Managers of this property and have been since September 2014. It is the aim of BREL to manage their property to the highest standards in order to maximize the benefit for its occupants whilst conforming with the business needs of our Client and the technical, legal and safety constraints of the property.
Since BREL took over the management of this property, two units have become vacant and change of use planning applications were made to ensure the correct tenant mix were targeted and to minimize the void period. Also, additional opportunities were identified and planning applications submitted to provide for a glazed extension suitable for a coffee shop, in addition to additional parking spaces which are necessary for this busy local neighbourhood retail scheme. It is planned that these improvement works will commence end 2017 with delivery in 2018.
